The digital wholesale auto marketplace had already been in focus that morning following its second quarter 2026 earnings report, which showed record revenue of $214 million and Adjusted EBITDA of $21 million, beating guidance. Non-GAAP earnings came in at $0.06 per share, topping the $0.05 consensus estimate, while GAAP net loss was $8 million.

The company reaffirmed its full-year 2026 revenue guidance of $845 million to $855 million and Adjusted EBITDA of $73 million to $77 million. Before the sale report lifted shares, the stock had been tumbling on the Q2 results alone, reflecting investor concern over wholesale market headwinds that prompted B.Riley to cut its price target.
