Anthropic on Monday launched Claude for Financial Advisors, a suite of AI connectors and workflow skills designed to automate research, meeting preparation, documentation and portfolio oversight tasks for wealth management professionals. The announcement was made at the Future Proof Festival and positions Anthropic in direct competition with OpenAI, which has been building out ChatGPT for financial services.

The product connects Claude to a broad network of custodians, asset managers and wealth-tech platforms, including Charles Schwab, BlackRock, Vanguard, Addepar, Envestnet, iCapital, Orion, SS&C Black Diamond, Wealthbox, Wealth.com and Zocks, alongside existing integrations with Microsoft 365, Salesforce, DocuSign, FactSet, S&P Global and Morningstar. Workflow skills cover advisor onboarding, alternative investments briefing, compliance and AI policy review, estate and tax briefing, portfolio rebalance review, pre-meeting preparation, post-meeting notes and prospect intake. Pricing is expected to run roughly $70 to $120 per user per month on top of Claude Co-Work and the separately available Claude for Finance base layer.

Orion announced it is a launch partner, introducing an MCP connector that lets advisors query live Orion Connect portfolio data and Redtail CRM records in plain language, collapsing tasks that once required toggling between multiple systems into a single conversational prompt.
