Baytex, Galiano Gold and a Dozen Others Report Q3 2026 Earnings in Busy Session

A broad wave of third-quarter 2026 earnings hit markets on November 5, led by oil and gas producer Baytex Energy, which paired its results with an increased 2026 capital plan, new 2027 guidance, and an accelerated three-year growth outlook. CEO Chad Lundberg cited record Duvernay production and strong execution across the company's heavy oil portfolio as highlights of the quarter.

Galiano Gold reported a 19% quarter-over-quarter increase in gold production at its Asanko Gold Mine in Ghana, where the company holds a 90% interest, and said full-year guidance remains on track. Fulgent Genetics posted Q3 revenue of $90.4 million but recorded a GAAP net loss of $13.2 million, or $0.48 per share, and an adjusted EBITDA loss of $7.5 million, with a narrower non-GAAP loss of $2.4 million, or $0.09 per share.

Assured Guaranty reported that its financial guaranty franchise generated $278 million in gross written premiums through the first nine months of 2026, with CEO Dominic Frederico describing the result as evidence of the company's growth strategy gaining traction. Northern Oil and Gas raised its 2026 production guidance alongside its quarterly results.
