Coinbase Global shares jumped more than 10% on September 3, trading above $193, as Bitcoin rebounded nearly 5% over 24 hours to approximately $80,982, pulling crypto-linked equities broadly higher. Strategy Inc. shares surged more than 15% in the same session. The rally came alongside lower Treasury yields and a weakening dollar, with Federal Reserve Governor Christopher Waller signaling he is inclined to support holding interest rates steady, easing pressure on speculative assets.

The session carried additional company-specific catalysts. Coinbase filed SEC registration documents to offer equity perpetuals in the United States, a product type that would expand its derivatives suite in the domestic regulated market. Separately, Circle Internet Group, whose USDC stablecoin is tightly linked to Coinbase through a revenue-sharing arrangement, surged 14% as progress on stablecoin regulation in Washington outweighed news of a bank-led rival stablecoin.

Looking ahead, Coinbase Chief Financial Officer Alesia Haas is scheduled to participate in a fireside chat at Citi's 2026 Global TMT Conference on September 10 at 1:15 pm ET, with a live webcast available through the company's investor relations site. Despite Thursday's gains, the stock remains roughly 51% below its 52-week peak, and Coinbase has separately been cited for reaching an all-time high in global crypto trading volume share.
