Cosa Resources Reports First Drill Results from Partner-Funded Aurora Uranium Project in Athabasca Basin

Cosa Resources Corp. (TSXV: COSA) released drilling results from its Aurora uranium project on October 19, 2026, marking the completion of the inaugural drill program at the property. Aurora sits in the southeastern Athabasca Basin approximately 16 kilometres east of Cameco's Key Lake mill and historical mine, a location that lends the project geological credibility given the region's established uranium production history.

The drilling was carried out and fully funded by Traction Uranium Corp. (CSE: TRAC), which holds an option to acquire up to an 80% interest in Aurora from Cosa by sole-funding $9.15 million in total exploration expenditures and completing specified cash and share payments under an agreement signed February 10, 2026. The program followed a property-wide airborne radiometric and magnetic survey, also funded entirely by Traction, that identified multiple radiometric anomalies interpreted as potentially related to uranium-bearing sources adjacent to or down-ice of prospective basement features. The fall 2026 drill program, planned at up to six diamond drill holes, was designed to test those prioritized targets on the ground.

Cosa operates the Aurora project while Traction bears the exploration costs, a structure that lets Cosa advance the property without drawing on its own treasury. Traction separately issued its own release confirming it had completed initial drilling at Aurora, consistent with Cosa's announcement.
