Eastport Critical Metals Finds 12km Copper Trend at Copper Snake Zone in Botswana

Eastport Critical Metals Corp. (TSXV: EVI; OTCQB: EVIIF) has uncovered multiple historical exploration trenches extending over a 12-kilometer length at the Copper Snake target within its 291-square-kilometer Matsitama Project in Botswana. The discovery was made during an ongoing gravity survey program, with the trenches showing extensive visible copper mineralisation throughout.

The first trench excavated, designated LT001, exposed a 2-meter wide copper-mineralised zone that also carries visual indications of potential gold mineralisation. CEO Daniel Major confirmed the findings to StockBox Media, noting that mapping and sampling of the trench corridor will be used to guide future drilling decisions at the Copper Snake area.

Matsitama is Eastport's flagship project, and the Copper Snake zone represents a newly defined exploration target layered on top of earlier drilling success the company has reported at the NAK and NAK-East zones elsewhere on the property. Assay results from the trenches have not yet been reported, with systematic sampling now the next step before any drilling program is designed.
