Hubbell Q3 2026 Revenue Jumps 25% and Full-Year Guidance Raised Despite 5% Stock Drop

Hubbell Incorporated reported third-quarter 2026 net sales of $1.90 billion, up 25% year over year and ahead of the Wall Street consensus estimate of $1.85 billion. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $5.91, a 14% increase from a year ago and above the analyst estimate of $5.75, while diluted GAAP EPS reached $4.94. Adjusted operating margin expanded 160 basis points to 25.5%.

The outperformance was driven largely by the Electrical Solutions segment, which posted revenue of $844.7 million, a 51% year-over-year surge fueled by more than 20% organic growth in data center markets alongside content gains and capacity expansion investments. The Utility Solutions segment contributed $1.0 billion in revenue, up 9% year over year. Organic net sales growth for the quarter totaled 11.3%, with acquisitions adding another 13 percentage points to the overall reported growth rate. Free cash flow for the quarter was $280.4 million.

Hubbell raised its full-year 2026 adjusted EPS guidance to a range of $20.40 to $20.60, roughly in line with the prior analyst consensus of $20.49. The company also updated its GAAP EPS outlook to $17.30 to $17.50, set organic sales growth guidance at 10% to 11%, and reaffirmed a free cash flow conversion target of 90%. Management attributed the raised outlook primarily to stronger anticipated Electrical Solutions growth. Despite the beat and guidance lift, shares fell approximately 5% on the day.
