IREN Closes $363 Million Equipment Financing to Expand AI Data Center Capacity

IREN Limited secured a $363 million equipment financing facility arranged by Wingspire Equipment Finance, with the transaction closing on October 28, 2026. The deal was structured through a six-lender syndicate anchored by Eldridge Capital Management and Silver Point Capital.

The facility refinances recently acquired, revenue-generating AI compute hardware, specifically GPU-based servers and networking systems already deployed in high-density data center environments. Collateral is the underlying AI hardware itself, with the transaction further backed by long-term, multi-year customer hosting agreements.

The financing is non-dilutive, converting previously deployed capital into immediate liquidity. IREN intends to redeploy the recovered funds directly into its next phase of AI data center capacity buildouts and additional GPU hardware expansion.
