Merck Remigromig Hits Non-Inferiority Goal in Phase 2b/3 Diabetic Macular Edema Trial

Merck's eye disease drug remigromig met its primary non-inferiority endpoint in a Phase 2b/3 trial for diabetic macular edema, the company announced on September 24. The result positions remigromig as a potential new treatment option in DME, a leading cause of vision loss in people with diabetes.

Also on September 24, Acadia Pharmaceuticals reported Phase 2 results from its RADIANT program evaluating remlifanserin for psychosis associated with Alzheimer's disease.
