ODDITY Tech Surges Up to 27% After Q2 Beat and Guidance Far Above Estimates

Revenue for the quarter ended June 2026 came in at $181 million, beating the $178 million consensus estimate but falling 25% from the same period a year earlier. Adjusted EPS of $0.20 beat the $0.16 estimate by $0.08, a 66.67% earnings surprise, though it represented a 78% decline year over year. Adjusted EBITDA of $13 million also cleared the $8.8 million estimate, though it was down 81% from the prior year. Gross margin was 68.7%, down 360 basis points year over year. Net income was $13 million, and the company held $561 million in cash, equivalents, and investments. ODDITY also repurchased $80 million in shares and retired $35 million in exchangeable notes during the period.

The headline driver of investor enthusiasm was forward guidance that far exceeded expectations. ODDITY guided full-year 2026 adjusted EBITDA to $30 million to $32 million, against a Wall Street estimate of just $10.7 million. For the third quarter specifically, adjusted EBITDA is guided at $18 million to $20 million versus the $6.3 million consensus, with revenue expected to decline approximately 5% year over year, a meaningful sequential improvement from the first half. Full-year revenue is expected to fall 19% year over year.

The year-over-year declines trace to ongoing headwinds at the company's IL MAKIAGE brand, which has faced elevated customer-acquisition costs stemming from an advertising-account dislocation with its largest ad partner. Management said the company remains hopeful that IL MAKIAGE is on track to achieve normalization and continues to work in close partnership with the advertising partner to resolve the technical issue.
