Sun Pharma UNLOXCYT Wins NCCN Preferred Status as Chardan Healthcare Conference Draws Biotech Cohort

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries announced that UNLOXCYT (cosibelimab-ipdl), its PD-L1 checkpoint inhibitor, has received a Category 2A Preferred designation in the updated National Comprehensive Cancer Network guidelines for locally advanced cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma, a recognition that places it among the top recommended treatment options for laCSCC patients. The designation follows the drug's FDA approval and commercial launch earlier in 2026, and adds clinical guideline authority to its existing label, which covers both locally advanced and metastatic cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma in adults.

Separately, Chardan's 10th Annual Healthcare Investor Conference brought together a broad group of small- and mid-cap biotechs presenting pipeline and strategy updates. Agenus used the forum to highlight its pivot toward the ROBIN program in immuno-oncology, while Adagene outlined an aggressive push into CTLA-4 therapies.
