President Trump announced on Truth Social that he has offered Dana White, CEO of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, the position of White House Press Secretary. Trump described White as "a violent Fighter and Warrior" and urged him to accept, writing "Dana, please take the job!"

In a notable addition to the offer, Trump suggested White bring a team of MMA fighters as assistants, naming Islam Makhachev, Khabib Nurmagomedov, Justin Gaethje, Daniel Cormier, Amanda Nunes, and Kayla Harrison. Trump acknowledged that some of the proposed assistants are not American citizens but said the group was needed "to defend us against the Lunatic Left." There was no immediate public response from White confirming acceptance of the role.
