United Airlines Sets Q3 Revenue Record as Earnings Season Delivers Broad Beats

United Airlines reported Q3 2026 total operating revenue of $17.9 billion, a 17% year-over-year increase that set an all-time record, with total revenue per available seat mile up 16%. Diluted EPS came in at $3.14, with adjusted diluted EPS of $2.54, achieved even as fuel expense surged 62%. The carrier also guided for record Q4 revenue growth, sending shares higher.

Teledyne Technologies posted all-time record quarterly sales, operating profit and non-GAAP earnings per share in Q3 2026. Net sales reached $1.68 billion, up 9.4% year-over-year, while GAAP diluted EPS rose 25.2% to $5.82 and non-GAAP diluted EPS climbed 20.6% to $6.72. The company raised its full-year 2026 GAAP diluted EPS outlook to a range of $21.71 to $21.87, up from a prior range of $20.73 to $20.99, and lifted its non-GAAP EPS outlook to $25.40 to $25.50.

Elevance Health reported Q3 2026 operating revenue of $50.4 billion, up 0.7% from a year earlier, with GAAP diluted EPS of $6.27 and adjusted diluted EPS of $6.99. The health insurer raised its full-year 2026 adjusted diluted EPS guidance to at least $29.00 and lifted its operating cash flow forecast to at least $6.5 billion.

Old National Bancorp reported record Q3 2026 net income of $250.0 million, or $0.66 per diluted share, alongside record efficiency and growth in both loans and deposits. Alaska Air Group topped its Q3 EPS estimate with adjusted net income of $49 million, or $0.36 per share, while revenue per available seat mile rose 11.7% against capacity up 2.4%. Shares in Alaska Air rose after hours. Philip Morris International posted Q3 2026 adjusted diluted EPS of $2.36, up 5.4%, driven by total volume growth and double-digit organic operating income growth, though reported EPS fell 4.9% to $2.12 due to currency headwinds.
