Walker River and Nevada Canyon Report 2.07 g/t Gold over 47 Metres at Lapon Canyon

Walker River Resources Corp. and its project partner Nevada Canyon Gold Corp. jointly announced drill results on October 22 from the 2026 reverse circulation program at the Lapon Canyon Gold Project in Nevada. The headline intercept, from hole LC-26-175, returned 2.07 grams per tonne gold over 47.25 to 47.3 metres, with both companies highlighting the result as evidence of continuous, thick mineralization hosted in monzonite that raises the potential for a significant mineral resource at the site. Walker River trades on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol WRR, while Nevada Canyon trades on the OTCQX under the symbol NGLD.

Also on October 22, junior explorer Decade Resources reported bonanza-grade surface samples from its Nobody Knows target, with gold values reaching 79.12 g/t and silver reaching 927 g/t from boulder samples. Fifteen of 21 selective samples graded above 10 g/t gold and nine exceeded 30 g/t. The company said two exploration fronts are now active, with diamond drill hole DDH-BN-7 under way at its Bonaparte target.

Elsewhere in the junior mining sector that morning, Tajiri Resources completed an induced polarization survey at its Yono Gold Project in Guyana and said it has begun soliciting bids for a drill contract, while Alpha Exploration announced it had finished an enlarged 2026 drilling program at its Aburna Gold Project.
