Torex Gold Adds Mining Finance Veteran Lee Hodgkinson to Its Board Effective November 1

Torex Gold Resources (TSX: TXG) announced on October 20, 2026 that Lee Hodgkinson will join its Board of Directors effective November 1, 2026, filling the vacancy left by Rodrigo Sandoval, who departed in September after being appointed Chief Financial Officer of Fresnillo plc.

Hodgkinson brings deep expertise in mining finance, having served as National Industry Leader of KPMG's Canadian Mining Practice for more than 20 years and as Director of KPMG's Global Mining group for over a decade, with a strong background in financial reporting and international auditing standards. With the addition, Torex's board returns to eight directors, seven of whom are classified as independent.
